I picked up this tent almost a year ago now. I’ve been super pleased with the build quality, features, and ease of use! It fits great on top of my Outback wilderness and is much thinner than our old soft shell and comparable hardshells.
This tent caught my eye as soon as I came across it while RTT shopping. The features and versatility for the price are incredible. And the fact that it comes with a ton of accessories (tent cross bars, removable insulation, shoe bags, interior lighting etc..) at no extra cost and still is hundreds of dollars cheaper than other companies is incredible. I'm saving money and getting the same features that you'd pay $400-$800 more for. Which makes anyone happy. I'm also a huge low profile kind of guy and this tent looks so good on my Prinsu roof rack BUT the low profile cross bars on the tent are huge for me too. I 100% recommend this tent for anyone looking to sleep 1-2 adults, get the most features per dollar, have a slim profile, stay warm, & have fun! I'm taking it with me to Alaska this summer to overland for 4 months and couldn't be more stoked to be able to use it to make camping convenient and comfortable.
I couldn’t be happier with my RTT I’ve had my fair share of tents but could never seem to find just the right one that checks all the boxes until I got to chatting with the guys at Sterling! I can very confidently say that between the 360 degree rain fly, the interior led strip, and even the thermal insulator that comes from factory this tent has it all, and that’s just naming a few! I can go on longer trips and get further off the ground with the knowledge that i’ll get a great night sleep and be ready for a day of adventures! I couldn’t be happier to be apart of the Sterling family and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
I absolutely love my Sterling RTT! We have had it on the truck and now on our trailer and we couldn’t ask for more. Went on a 5 day trip and for the first time didn’t miss our bed. Thank you, Sterling Adventure Co. I was able to enjoy my first night camping in some terrain unaccesible with my camp trailer. What a wonderful night sleep I had listening to nature and being so close to the stars. Also the first rays of sunrise atop a mountain are an invigorating sight. Set up and pack up are indeed a breeze. We are very happy and excited with the purchase. My wife and I are looking forward to many cozy sleeps.
