The World's Lightest All-Aluminum RTT
Designed with a reinforced honeycomb aluminum base, not weight-saving slats that leave fabric exposed to moisture and debris. The top, sides, and lower shell are all aluminum, creating a fully enclosed structure with long-term durability built in.

The Wasatch Lite V2 weighs 96 lbs, making it the lightest full-aluminum rooftop tent in the world. With a 4.7" closed profile, it sits lower on your roof than virtually any competing hardshell RTT on the market. Multiple owners report driving into a standard garage door without removing it.
Is the Wasatch Lite Rooftop Tent compatible with my vehicle?
The Wasatch Lite mounts to any standard roof rack or crossbars using using our included hardware kit and a 13mm ratcheting wrench (included).
How long does it take to set up the Wasatch Lite Rooftop Tent?
Under 30 seconds. Release two latches and the gas-strut assisted lid opens on its own. Then simply attach the two rain fly poles if desired for extra protection.
How many people can sleep in the Wasatch Lite Rooftop Tent ?
Two adults. The sleep surface comfortably accommodates two people, and owners up to 6'3" report fitting head-to-toe without issue. For two taller sleepers, or anyone who wants the most foot room possible, the Wasatch Double Channel's 6th-gen X-hinge design adds 12 inches of extra length and may be a better fit.
Is the Wasatch Lite suitable for four-season camping?
Yes. The Wasatch Lite is built for year-round use. It includes an integrated diesel heater port so you can run a heater inside without cracking the tent open. Optional clip-in quilted insulation is available for colder conditions. The 280g polycotton blackout canvas carries a PU5000 waterproof rating, handling rain, snow, and condensation across all seasons.
What is the mattress like in the Wasatch Lite?

Can I carry gear on top of the Wasatch Lite?
Yes. The optional crossbars are rated to carry up to 110 lbs with the tent closed and 35 lbs with it open. Bikes, kayaks, rotopax, shovels, and boards all work. One owner runs a full build with a power bank stored inside and gear on top, and never takes the tent off his vehicle.
